Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has accused former President John Dramani Mahama and his administration of rampant corruption and thievery.

During a phone interview on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, Nana B asserted that corruption thrived unchecked under Mahama's tenure, leading to numerous scandals and financial mismanagements.

He alleged that corrupt officials even resorted to stealing from market women, worsening the plight of vulnerable individuals, especially those affected by tragedies such as market fires.

He said, "Stealing during your term knew no bounds as some of your corrupt appointees even stole from market women with impunity.

"The Presidency is meant for serious people and the former President’s track record gives an indication that he is going to cause more damage if he is allowed to lead Ghana again."

Nana B referenced the recent case of embezzlement involving the former CEO of MASLOC, who was sentenced to jail by the court, “as a glaring manifestation of the crass corruption that prevailed during Mahama's tenure."
