Nana Addo is the only hope for Ghana- Alan

THE FORMER Minister of Trade and Industry under the erstwhile NPP administration, Mr. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, says the flagbearer of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo represents the best hope for this country and must be given the chance to lead Ghana.

The former minister noted that Ghana risks being plunged into further economic chaos if the NPP, under the leadership of Nana Addo, is not given the chance to lead this country.

According to him, the NDC administration, led by President John Dramani Mahama does not have the competence to handle the myriad of challenges facing the country.

Addressing supporters of the NPP at Kromoase in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency as part of the NPP flagbearer’s four day tour to the Ashanti Region, the former trade and industry minister promised that the next NPP will introduce business-friendly policies and programmes that will create an enabling environment for business to flourish.

According to him, the two major problems confronting Ghanaians for which the Nana Addo-led government will seriously tackle are jobs and cash, adding that Ghanaians would have jobs and will be able to contribute meaningful to the development of the country.

Mr. Kyerematen indicated that the next government of the NPP will waive taxes on imports and businesses to enable investors operate with less economic stress.

He said the Value Added Tax, which is currently around 17.9% will be slashed down to 3% when the NPP assumes power.

The former Trade and Industry Minister also eulogized the NPP flagbearer, describing him as the best person for the job.
