New train accident; punishment must be swift and severe to prevent other planned sabotages

Looking at the insane deliberate placement of the truck on the railway line that caused the accident, authorities in Ghana must not treat the collision as an accident but rather as a deliberate attempt to sabotage the nation and wreak havoc on the Ghanaian economy and also an attempt to discredit the government of the day all for political reasons. I am very very angry that people with such mentality parade our streets and complain of lack of development, yet when development is coming, they go all out to sabotage it due to political party affiliation.

We don't want to hear any ifs and buts from any stupid lawyer who would go to defend this madness. We the people of Ghana are demanding swift trial and sentencing for this nation wrecker. If the driver refuses to mention his pay masters regarding this diabolic behavior, then the police must hand him over to the military to exact the necessary information from him. We have all seen pictures of how the truck was placed on the track, and this is nothing but deliberate action to derail the government's program.

people like these deserve firing squad so that they don't live to enjoy whatever money they receive to commit such a disgraceful crime. The attorney general must put all aside and consider the magnitude of this crime and prosecute this nation wrecker within weeks otherwise, delay in justice would embolden more like minded people to commit other crimes aimed at punishing the present administration.

We were all in Ghana when markets were burned down in their numbers prior to general elections. National Doom Conspirators would stop at nothing to make the country ungovernable in order to increase their electoral chances. There can of course be no other reason for the truck that was positioned on the track other than political reasons. There is no road crossing the tracks at that location. The truck couldn't have flown to that perfect location at the time everyone in the locality knew that test run was going to be conducted on that very day.

I am inclined to believe that this truck driver had an accomplis who was placed in a distant location who communicated to the driver by phone that the beautiful train was on the track approaching his location. This is all the more reason why I am of the view that this truck driver must be made to sing and not face the consequences alone.

I am very angry and rightly so. All Ghanaians must be angry because all of us would pay for the loan that was used to secure the train.

we need justice and we need it now. The politics of destroying national assets to gain power must be stopped once and for all.
