Ghana football has erupted with ecstasy after the country's federation president Kwesi Nyantakyi won a close contest at CAF to represent Africa on the powerful FIFA Executive Council.
The 47-year-old polled 31 votes, one more than closes challenger Ahmad of Madagascar to represent CAF alongside the governing body's vice-president Almamy Kabele Camara of Guinea.
Twitter has gone agog after congratulatory messages to the ever rising football administrator.
