Asante Kotoko technical director Malik Jabir has made a shocking remark that players who ply their trade in the Ghana Premier League l ack endurance because of excessive sex.
Jabir in an interview with Kumasi-based Ultimate FM claimed “too much sex” is undermining the energy levels of Ghanaian footballers.
According to the veteran coach, majority of footballers these days get easily drained during games and are unable to last the entire duration of a game because they neither sleep nor train enough.
“A lot of today’s players cannot play 90 minutes because they get so tired easily. And you know why? Because they don’t sleep enough and don’t train enough and they engage in too much sex.”
“There are beautiful young girls in Ghana and they won’t leave them alone,” Coach Malik Jabir told Ultimate FM.
He further advised that, “There’s time for that and there’s time for football. If you mix the two, you can’t reach the top.”
