Hearts of Oak assistant coach, Abdul Rahim Bashiru, remains optimistic about Glid Otanga's availability for their upcoming game against Berekum Chelsea.
The 23-year-old midfielder from the Republic of Congo sustained a nose injury following a collision during their match against Accra Lions.
In his post-game interview, Bashiru expressed confidence in his team despite the loss to Lions, emphasizing that Otanga is likely to recover in time for the match against Chelsea.
“Anytime there is no Otange, we face a lot of problems but I think he will be ready before the Chelsea game for sure,” he said.
The Phobian club suffered a 1-0 defeat against Accra Lions during Match Week 28 at the Accra Sports Stadium, marking their fourth loss in the last five games.
