Legon Cities head coach, Samuel Kwesi Fabin, believes playing at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu has helped his team’s chances of winning games.

The Royals are unbeaten since moving its home grounds to Dawu in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

The team extended its unbeaten run at Dawu after recording a 2-0 win over Accra Hearts of Oak with Albert Yeboah scoring a brace over the weekend in the matchday 27 games.

His opposite number, Aboubakar Ouattara, said Hearts of Oak’s loss could be traced to a rocky preparation for The Phobians due to a blackout and lack of water at the hotel the team lodged in ahead of the game.

“We’ve not lost since we moved here," Fabin said.

"The turf is good, I must confess this is a very good turf. When we get a good turf like this, we play very well so the turf has also accounted for our performances of late so I’m happy to play here," he added.
