Xandy Kamel, an actress and TV personality, has called out the Ghana Education Service (GES) to ensure that private schools employ qualified and professional teachers.

He urges GES to stop private schools from using the Senior High School (SHS) graduates.

Expressing her concern, Kamel highlighted the issues she observed in the teaching skills of many SHS graduates employed by private schools.

She emphasized that “these individuals often lack the professional training necessary to effectively educate students, leading to subpar learning experiences for the children under their care.”

In addition to questioning the teaching abilities of SHS graduates, Kamel also raised issues regarding their attitudes and dedication to the profession.

She urged private schools to invest more and hire qualified and experienced teachers who have received formal training from teacher training colleges.
