Franklin Cudjoe fumes at unaccountable wasteful executive living large at the expense of Ghanaian taxpayers

Founder of IMANI Center for Policy & Education, Franklin Cudjoe has lambasted government officials who live large at the expense of Ghanaian taxpayers.

According to him, although he has observed that tax officers struggle to convince taxpayers to pay more, some members of government’s executive continue to waste the little taxes raised.

In a post on Facebook, Franklin Cudjoe said it is nonsense for some unaccountable wasteful executives to waste the taxes of Ghanaians and be seen digging a pit in the name of raising an offering to the Lord in the name of a Cathedral.

“I see dutiful tax officers struggling to convince already broken tax payers to pay more. And yet some unaccountable wasteful executive living large at our expense and doing nothing to improve our lives decides to grab the tax and dig a clumsy pit claiming to raise an offering to the Lord in the name of a Cathedral. Nonsense,” Franklin Cudjoe said.

In another post, Franklin Cudjoe said it is mind-boggling that many young politicians who had so little have now come into so much wealth in the last seven years when millions of Ghanaians continue to wallow in poverty.
