Head coach of the Cranes of Uganda Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic has declared his readiness to coach the Black Stars of Ghana .

Avram Grant who is Ghana's coach has been in hot waters for the past month following the West African giant's poor display in recent times.

However, 'Micho' is leaving no stone unturned when he gets the chance to coach the four-time African champions.

'First of all I'm fully focused on the job I'm doing. Secondly my colleague Avram Grant needs to have some peace. I respect the Ghana Football Association and I respect Ghana. READ ALSO: Asamoah Gyan says Ghana would have to push harder in Group D

'Any target for a coach in this world is to coach top team like Ghana. Ghana is a top team, there are coaches who want to coach Barcelona. And coaching in Africa the top job is to coach the Black Stars of Ghana.

'In the future, if the time comes I will avail myself to coach the Black Stars of Ghana and I will add new things to the team but present I look forward to do well with my team [Ghana] in the upcoming 2017 AFCON,' Micho told Hot FM.

Uganda were drawn in Group D alongside Ghana, Egypt and Mali ahead of the upcoming AFCON on Wednesday, and Micho has indicated should Ghana fail to beat his side in the next year's championship, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) should award him a Doctorate Degree in coaching.

'Being the coach of Uganda I have played Ghana three times, we drew 1-1 in Kumasi, beat Ghana1-0 in Kampala and some weeks ago drawn goalless with Ghana in Tamale. Ghana is a good team they have good coaches but if they fail to beat my team in the upcoming championship, the Ghana Football Association should award me with a Doctorate Degree in coaching,' the Serbian added.
