The Black Stars will share the same hotel in Port Gentil with with their arch-rivals Uganda during the group phase of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Ghana and Uganda will share the same hotel called Hotel Du Parc which will create the chance of the two teams to have the chance of observing each other before they clash on the 17 January.

This is the second time Ghana is sharing hotel with its group opponents in recent times in Africa's flagship tournament.

The Black Stars shared the same accommodation with South African on their way to the final of last year's tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

Ghana's other opponents Mali will be accommodated at Hotel Bamboo while Egypt will be housed at the Hotel Chez Jimmy.

Ghana will begin their quest to end a 35-year wait for an AFCON trophy on January 17 against bogey-side Uganda at the Stade de Port Gentil in Gabon.

The Black Stars have gone four games without victory against the Cranes of Uganda.

They will be out to claim victory over Uganda's Micho Seredejovic who has proved tactically superior to Black Stars coaches sing taking charge of Uganda.

Avram Grant's side will face the Stallions of Mali four days later on January 21 at the same venue.

The Stars will round-off the group stages with a game against record seven-time AFCON winners Egypt on January 25.
