The Dondology Of Ghana's Democracy?

The Dondology Of Ghana's Democracy?
21.02.2017 LISTEN

When you are in opposition, campaign with embellished lies, destroy the reputation of your political opponents, attack the credibility of all institutions to create anger and change mentality.

After winning power, pretend to apologise for all the lies, and then tell more lies about the previous regime of why what you promised in your party manifesto and campaign platforms cannot be fulfilled.

Use the law to legitimize 'criminal' actions, change the law to give legal standing to personal interests, and/or use the institutions to violate the very law that emanates from these institutions to give legitimacy and justification to the pursuit of personal interest and agenda.

When all these are done , tell more lies about your political opponents so as to prevent your opponents from winning any future political contest.

Few opposition members who benefited from the loots of their previous regimes would now shout of political witch hunting and deceptions of the governing party.

The ‘good’ politicians desirous of genuine development of the nation, are caught up in the middle with scarcity of truth in hand that is difficult to market to the needy and hungry. These needy and hungry persons have rather allowed their needs to be misplaced by the politicasters..

These ignorant citizens fall prey to these deceptions and engage in fights (attack and defend) that only create space for the consolidation of political thievery and thuggery to their own aggravation and deeping of poverty

Shalom.
