Minister Radebe to host a Service Delivery Imbizo in The Free State

Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe will host unannounced visits and a service delivery Imbizo at Tumahole, Parys, in the Free State Province.

The unannounced visits are part of the DPME’s focus area in improving front line service delivery through its Front Line Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) unit which works with the Offices of Premiers to monitor public service facilities through unannounced visits.

FSDM also ensures that in the medium term, by the year 2019, as stated in the National Development Plan the public service will have increased responsiveness of public servants, accountability to citizens and improved mechanisms to promote ethical behaviour in the public service.

Minister Radebe will be joined by the Premier of the Free State province, Ace Magashule and Members of the Executive Council (MECs), Executive Mayor of Fezile Dabi District Municipality and the Mayor of Ngwathe local Municipality.

The Imbizo will take place as follows:

Venue: Ngwathe Local Municipality and Phehellang Secondary School
