Akufo-Addo told me he won’t give us financial haircut but gave me the ugliest haircut – Franklin Cudjoe

Founder of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has indicated that he does not trust the words of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to him, President Akufo-Addo assured him that there won’t be financial haircuts during the domestic debt exchange programme but ended up giving him the ugliest haircut ever.

In a post on social media, Franklin Cudjoe argued that this is why he cdoubts the words of President Akufo-Addo when he says ‘dumsor’ will never return.

“Amen. But l'm unsure since this man told me he won't give us financial haircut and ended up giving me the mostugliest haircuts ever. Same with IMF oo,” Franklin Cudjoe said in a post on Facebook.

President Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, May 1, disclosed that all issues with the faulty transformers causing power outages in the country have been addressed.

He said due to this, Ghanaians can be assured of stable power supply.

“Issues surrounding the maintenance of the transformers have been resolved, Indeed we have witnessed stable power supply across the country with no load shedding reported anywhere yesterday…I am confident that the unfortunate era of dumsor will not return,” President Akufo-Addo said during an address at the Workers’ Day celebration.
