Nana Akomea, Chief Executive Officer of the InterCity State Transport Corporation (STC) has urged the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to provide a clear timetable for the ongoing power outages (Dumsor).

The ECG has come under fire for its refusal to provide a load-shedding timetable amid the current electricity crisis.

Despite the ECG's stance, which has been supported by Energy Sector Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Nana Akomea voiced his concerns during an interview on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' morning show.

He stressed the necessity of a timetable to assist Ghanaians in planning their daily activities.

"This doesn't help the government in any way... this is not right. It is not a good record," Nana Akomea stated.

He emphasized the need for immediate action from the ECG and other stakeholders in the energy sector, urging them to prioritize solutions to alleviate the frustrations of electricity consumers across the country.

"In the meantime, give us a timetable," Nana Akomea insists.
