Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan will join Kwesi Nyantakyi welcome event in Accra on Friday afternoon.
Gyan, who plays for UAE side Al Ahli will join the Ghana FA boss at the Kotoka International Airport to celebrate his latest achievement.
Nyantakyi is expected to receive a rousing welcome back home after he won an election to serve on the FIFA Executive Council.
The iconic Ghanaian FA leader polled 31 votes, one more than Ahmad of Madagascar to secure the seat.
The two men will be answering questions likely to border on Nyantakyi's recent elevation and the country's 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda in Tamale on October 7.
