Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has congratulated FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi for winning one of the two slots for Africa on the powerful FIFA Executive Council.
The 47-year-old won a narrow contest at CAF's headquarters in Cairo on Thursday to serve as one of the representative of the continent's governing body on the FIFA council.
The ever rising Ghanaian FA leader edged Ahmad of Madagascar to join CAF'S vice-president Almamy Kabele Camara of Guinea.
And the on-loan Al Ahli striker has patted the FA leader on the shoulder.
Congratulations to Kwesi Nyantakyi on his victory to the FIFA executive council. pic.twitter.com/mvEOcehia5
