The Ghana international is yet to sort out his future after being told he has no place in Antonio Conte's squad at Stamford Bridge.
He has up till next Wednesday to sign for a new club before the transfer window shuts.
The 24-year-old started last season with Bournemouth, but played just twice for the Cherries before being shipped out to La Liga club Malaga.
He spent the 2013/14 and 2014/15 campaigns on loan with Vitesse Arnhem and Everton respectively.
Atsu joined the Blues from Porto in 2013.
