Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong says lifting this year's league is within the club's reach despite dropping vital points lately.

Kotoko placed fourth on the league ladder with four points adrift from leaders managed just a point when they journeyed to Sekondi to play Hasaacas over the weekend.

Frimpong, who has eight goals to his credit revealed that the club is hoping to turn the tables on Chelsea clash this Sunday when they host the latter.

He said the team will thereafter take a game at a time in their last three games- against Medeama, Ashgold and WAFA from which they have targeted to claw all the points at stake.

The captain admitted the enormity of the remaining games but indicated that the Porcupine Warriors have resolved to scale over all the hurdles.

Frimpong said in an interview that “We are not down and out. We still have hopes of winning the league because anything can happen in the game of football.”

“We are working hard to claim all three points in our next game against Chelsea. That’s the most important thing for now.”

“From there, we will see what we can do to make things better in our subsequent three games.”
