AUG 24, 2016 LISTEN

Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Oti Akenten believes the injury of Andre Ayew will be healed faster than the four months' period if he undergoes herbal medical treatment in Ghana.

Ander Ayew, who joined West Ham this month on a 20.5 million club record fee, damaged his thigh in debut game against Chelsea.

He has been ruled out for four months, expected to return on December 1, but Oti Akenten has recommended that traditional medicine will make the healing process faster.

'There are a lot of herbal medical doctors, who can use medicine to cure Andre Ayew's injury two in two weeks.

I will speak to his father about that. I believe that if he comes to Ghana and returns as a fit person, his manager would have no other option than to use him,' he told Nhyira FM.
