New Hearts MD Sowah-Odotei hails head coach Sérgio Traguil

Vincent Sowah-Odotei has heaped praises on Hearts of Oak new coach Sérgio Traguil for transforming the team and hanging on to the top of the table.

Sergio Traguil who was originally employed as the youth team coach was handed the senior team after the club parted ways with former trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi and Odotei-Sowah believes Traguil has been phenomenal.

Traguil after supervising six games has amassed twelve points and the Accra giants are top of the Ghana Premier League table with 39 points after 22 games.

'We are very happy with Sergio [Traguil] because he has not lost any match. He has won more points than the reverse fixtures in the first round,' Odotei told Happy FM..

'We are happy with Sergio and we will continue to support him, we will continue to encourage him so I expect all the fans and the media to support him because everyone can attest to the fact that he plays very good football. We are happy with Sergio and his technical assistants,' he added.

Sowah-Odotei is believed to have engineered the departure of Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi who parted ways with the club recently.

Kenichi who started the season on a bright note agreed to part ways with the club following consistent frustrations by the Strategy Committee of the club chaired by Sowah-Odotei.
