Hearts of Oak Strategy Committee chairman Vincent Odotei-Sowah says he expects victory over Kotoko in the President's Cup, adding that it will be sweeter if they played attractive football.

The Phobians will play rivals Asante Kotoko in the 2016 GHALCA President's Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

The two teams have met already this season with the Porcupines triumphing by a narrow goal over the Phobians in Accra.

But Odotei expects Hearts to beat Kotoko to clinch a third historic back-to-back President's Cup on Friday.

"Our expectation is to win and to play very well especially considering that we have just lost to them recently so we are going into this match to be competitive and play,' he told facebook.com/accraheartsofoak.

"Of course, the match is to honour the sitting President [His Excellency John Dramani Mahama] so we want to give a good account of ourselves and break Kotoko in Accra.

"I think the fans have all seen the last two matches that we have played; it is a new Hearts. There is a new kind of identity that we want to build and nothing will be sweeter than to use this new identity to beat our arch-rivals."
