JUN 29, 2016 LISTEN

Berekum Chelsea atoned for their weekend loss with a smooth 2-0 win over Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League at the Golden City Part in Berekum on Wednesday afternoon.

Former Ghana youth and Atletico Madrid B attacker Saddick Adams fired the opener for the Blues in the second-half before substitute Nana-Tei Horsu topped it up before home fans.

Chelsea manager Solomon Odwo was forced to make an early substitution when youngster Nana-Tei Horsu was introduced as replacement for the injured Stephen Amankona.

Allies managed to hold the Blues attack for most part of the game until striker Saddick Adams broke the deadlock in the second-half.

The Golden City giants had slipped to a narrow loss at Wa All Stars over the weekend and needed reprieve by beating the Tema-based side.

However Allies remained resolute for most part of the game, averting a host of attacking schemes led by captain Adams.

The former Atletico Madrid B player managed to break the deadlock after sending home a fantastic finish.

But it was not finished yet for the visitors as the hosts had a goal more to add. Substitute Nana-Tei Horsu ghosted into the area and neatly finished off a move in the 83rd minute to cement the win for Chelsea.
