Ghana football president Kwasi Nyantakyi has described the country's World Cup Group as a tough one, and Egypt the toughest side.

Ghana is housed in Group E alongside Congo, Egypt and Uganda for the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifiers.

Nyantakyi's fears stems from the 7-3 annihilation of the North Africans which handed Ghana the ticket for the 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup.

To the Wa All Stars president, the Egyptians will come strongly to fight back.

But he gave the assurance that steps would be put in place to ensure a fourth streak World Cup qualification.

He said after the draw that “It's a tough group for us surely. Uganda is a good team, Congo is good too, but Egypt are our toughest opponent,” he said.

.
“Beating them in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifications doesn't give us any psychological advantage. On the contrary, it's a disadvantage.

“They will come to payback, and we have to be aware. I watched some games for Egypt and they have a new and very good team. We will play each game to win and I'm sure we will qualify to Russia 2018.”

Egyptian's Argentine trainer Hector Cuper on the other hand has charged his side to put the 3-7 loss behind saying, “I call on all fans to forget all about the 6-1 defeat by Ghana in 2013, the situation is totally different now,” the former Valencia boss Cuper said.

“For sure I can't guarantee beating Ghana or defeating any other team. All I could guarantee is doing our best to reach our goal which is World Cup qualification. Our group is the best among all the other groups.”

Ghana will face Egypt in Cairo on November 15.
