"Retuning To Your First Love " Hits Obuasi In July

As espoused in Revelation 2 versus 4, Christians today have ditched their “first love”. Economic hardships, the influx of technology, busy work schedules are among the barricades that appear to separate Christians in the 21st century from the love of Christ.

But regardless of the seeming distractions, one man is on a restoration journey to stir up the love of many that has waxed cold. Inspired by the word of God and his unstoppable zeal to lead people closer to Christ, Joshua Ahenkorah began a movement; Returning To Your First Love.

This is an annual gospel event that brings together people from all walks of life into the presence of God.

Since 2012, Joshua has joined forces with various gospel artistes such as Joe Mettle, Pastor Isaiah, Naa Mercy,Quame Gyedu etc, in a charged atmosphere that allows people to pour out their hearts, receive a hearing and settle their “relationship” issues with their maker. Through this, lives have been transformed, and testimonies abound.

This year’s event promises to be more impactful. Dubbed “Fill me up”, patrons are promised hours of non-stop performances that will charge them to carry out their heavenly mandates and fulfil their Godly assigned purpose.

It is scheduled to take place at Living Word assemblies of God church in Obuasi on the 10th of July, 2016 at 4pm.

Performing alongside Joshua this year are Jeshrun Okyere, Braa Kweku and Onasis.

The event is expected to (re)ignite the passion for Christ among believers.
