I’ll Say More About EC Boss If You Dare Me – Agyapong Warns

Maverick Member of Parliament for Assin North Kennedy Agyapong has said he is unremorseful about his attacks on the chairperson of the Electoral Commission Charlotte Osei.

According to the businessman, he has a dossier on the ill attitude of the EC boss and will release them, if the public continues to provoke him.

Mr. Agyapong has come under intense public attack following some unsavory remarks he made about the former NCCE boss. He told an NPP rally in Kumasi that Mrs. Osei exchanged sexual favors for her position. Some women advocates have condemned the comments and called on him to apologise.

However, speaking to Accra-based Adom FM, the media owner said he will say more to denigrate the EC chair if should does shun her sinister moves against the New Patriotic Party.

“..When they are talking about me, insulting me all this while, everybody is there and they won’t say anything but when I respond then they say I have taken the law into my own hands.

“If you like I will say more. The woman’s posture and her attitude; we have to let people know who she is. Why must we be afraid to say the truth? If you dare me, I will say more about Charlotte Osei and why she is doing what she is doing. If a woman is doing the wrong thing, shouldn’t we say it, is a woman not a human being?” he queried.

Meanwhile, a Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Anthony Abayifa Karbo has told Kasapa FM the party will not condemn its eccentric MP for Assin Central. According to Mr Karbo, who has also been cited in the past for issuing threats on campaign platforms argued that Agyapong does not speak for the NPP, as such his comments does not represent the party’s position.
