Final-year student nurse gives to school

Sunyani, May 30, GNA - A final-year student of the Sunyani Nursing Training College, Ms. Mercy Yaa Boatemaa, has donated a number of items in support of the school.

These included litter bins, 50-inch Hisense flat-screen television with a multi-decoder, carpet, eating bowls, plates, ladles, and drinking cups.

She, has additionally provided funding to give the dining and its two adjoining kitchens a new colour.

Ms. Boatemaa said this was in fulfillment of a promise she made when she campaigned for election as Dining Hall Prefect.

It was her modest contribution to efforts at improving conditions in the school, she added.

She said her parents alongside the Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr. Erick Opoku and the Chief Executive Officer of the Richman Engineering Company, supported her to raise funds to buy the items.

Mr. David Amalba, the Principal, applauded Ms. Boatemaa for the gesture and invite both present and past students to emulate.
