Gospel music duo, Tagoe Sisters, have called on corporate bodies, the media and individuals for support as they give back to society on their golden jubilee celebration.

The gospel duo will turn 50 years on July 27, and activities to mark the celebration include a walk, musical concert, donation to the needy, among others.

Speaking to Anita Erskine on the Starr Drive last Thursday, the members of the group said, “We are giving back to the society, we have adopted one of the female wards at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital to renovate and the School For The Deaf at Mampong.”

According to them, throughout the years, the Lord has been good to them and that they have also decided to give back to society.

“We have a foundation dubbed 'Tagoe Twin Foundation' which caters for needy twins in the country. We also have a number of charity projects in the pipeline.”

As part of the golden jubilee celebration, the sisters will also tour churches to sing to raise funds for their upcoming project.
