Ghana President John Mahama says any official found guilty for financial misappropriation by the Commission of Inquiry will be punished.
The three-man body has been set up by the president to look into Ghana's shambolic World Cup campaign.
Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah, ex-captain Stephen Appiah and members of the Ghana FA have appeared before the commission.
“When the events that took place in Brazil happened, I have set up a commission of inquiry so that Ghanaians will be a part of the process to see what happened there,” Mahama told some Ghanaians in the US on the sidelines of the 69th UN assembly.
“When these commissions are finished, we will publish the report for all Ghanaians to see. And we all will take the decisions. If we have to sanction people, we have to sanction them.”
